How often do we celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary? Or an 80th birthday? These milestones are the perfect opportunity to celebrate life with Portraits! Every family within the multigenerational tree deserves their day in the spotlight. The combinations of groupings should be well planned, and each family should be honored with the time each deserves. Please view an example of a multigenerational session on the Session page.

My passion is multigenerational portraiture. While many photographers take cute pictures of babies, my specialty is capturing the beauty of our revered grandparents. How often do you hear them comment that they don’t want to take pictures “because I’m not young anymore. I don’t look like I used to.” To that I say: Your grandchildren only know you as you are these days. They Love who you are now. They aren’t concerned with age. They only know Love!

Winston Churchill said “The young sow wild oats. The old grow sage.” Portraits are for Future generations. What we do today will outlive all of us. Think about the day your own children were born. Did you think on that day “I wonder what this precious little baby’s life will be like? What will she be doing 30 years from now? Who will be holding his hand 80 years from now?” It won’t be you or me. The legacy we leave our kids and grandkids is Be a good person, Think of others, Remember those you care about. Having beautifully crafted portraits is a vital facet in the jewel of life.
